The software can be installed on windows 2003 but it will not let you run it via RDP (remote desktop protocol) or any other remote software. To use it you need to be physically sitting on the computer in a real time session, will error out if you try to run the application via any kind of remote software (tried with PC anywhere, VNC, and RDP) no luck. You can not remote from home to your company server and look at the statements unfortunately. Will tell you purchase the most expensive one the premium one. Most of the accounts in the software are pre-configured (you must use what is in there)and can not be customized like in quick books. I had to convert to quick books used peachtree for almost 2 months. I hope this explain a bit the tech side of the software. Sincerely, emo
